About Clinic Trips
If you are passionate about gaining hands-on healthcare experience, working with medical professionals, and making a meaningful impact in underserved communities, we invite you to join us on our outpatient clinic trips to El Testerazo, Mexico!
Our clinic, located in El Testerazo, serves as a vital resource for providing essential health services. Participants will meet on campus at approximately 5:30 AM before traveling together across the Tecate border and continuing for about 45 minutes into Mexico. Upon arrival, you will be assigned to a specialized team based on the clinic's needs, with roles potentially including dentistry, triage, medical scribing, and other critical areas.
Throughout the day, we aim to serve as many patients as possible, dedicating our time and expertise to improving community health. After completing the clinic, we will stop for dinner on the return trip, arriving back in Irvine between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM.
CLINIC TRIPS ARE WHAT OUR MEMBERS AT FLYING SAMARITANS ARE EAGERLY WAITING FOR.
These incredible trips take place once a month on Saturdays. Clinic trips will be an all day event.
Due to the limited amount of seats, acceptance on clinic trips are reserved for members who dedicate active participation and passion towards our organization. It is imperative for all members to be as involved as possible. This includes, but is not limited to: attending the general meetings, committee meetings, social events, and fundraising events. Members who volunteer to be a DRIVER will receive priority during the selection process.
Accumulate membership points and get to know the members of our organization to have the rewarding opportunity of attending these monthly clinic trips.

How to Attend
If you're interested in attending our monthly clinic trip, be sure to check our Instagram and Discord or scroll below , where we post the Google Form application each month. After submissions close, our clinic coordinators will review applications and cross-reference membership points to determine eligibility. Those selected will receive an acceptance email with further details, including trip logistics and any necessary preparations. Stay connected on our platforms for updates, and thank you for your dedication to serving our community!
Checklist
In order to attend clinic trips, each attendee must fulfill the following requirements:
⚕️ Have an active paid membership
⚕️ Have a minimum of 4 clinic points
⚕️ Bring trip fee of $35 (Zelle or cash on day of clinic trip, Zelle preferred)
⚕️ Complete the Mandatory Mock Clinic (Held on Fridays before clinic)
⚕️ Bring valid Passport/Passport Card
⚕️Attire: Flying Sams scrubs set or neutral colored scrubs
